“The power of community to create health is far greater than any physician, clinic or hospital.”
-Mark Hymann
Enjoying sound health is a fundamental nature for every person. At the same time, to protect and maintain own health in the village level has been found challenging for community men and women.
Community Health Camps are a regular affair with India Evangelistic Association. Apart from general health camps, IEA also organizes Eye Check Up camps and runs mobile medical checkup vans in remote areas.
IEA, in association with experienced medical practitioners, conducts these camps to promote physical and mental well being of the people. State of the art technology is used to diagnose illness and disorders and locals and tribal communities are provided with medicines and supplements accordingly.
Children are vaccinated against diseases. Interactive sessions are also held at these camps where doctors and volunteers advise the community members on nutrition, fitness and proper health practices.
The people have benefitted immensely from such endeavors of the IEA and are enthusiastic about similar events in future in their areas.
The most striking aspect of these camps is that all these services and medicines are provided to the community completely free of charge.
